Screenwriter and director Alanna Rosette Brown is devoted to the inclusion of marginalized voices in cinema. She’s passionate about telling diverse stories that explore and illuminate the human spirit while provoking introspection. Her debut feature script, TREES OF PEACE, was a winner of the 2014 Tracking Board Launch Pad Features Competition. She attended the UCLA Professional Screenwriting Program in 2014-2015, and later signed with UTA’s Charlie Ferraro and Anna Berthold, and Kaplan/Perrone Entertainment’s Aaron Kaplan and Hannah Ozer. Prior to acquiring literary representation, she wrote, produced, and directed her festival-award-winning debut short film 1426 CHELSEA STREET in 2011.
She is currently working with Academy Award-winning producer Chay Carter to make TREES OF PEACE a feature film. They are in search of a financing entity whose vision aligns with theirs.
