Screenwriter and director Alanna Rosette Brown is devoted to the inclusion of marginalized voices in cinema. She’s passionate about telling diverse stories that explore and illuminate the human spirit while provoking introspection. Her debut feature script, TREES OF PEACE, was a winner of the 2014 Tracking Board Launch Pad Features Competition. While attending the UCLA Professional Screenwriting Program in 2014-2015, she signed with Paradigm Talent Agency’s David Boxerbaum and Adrian Garcia, and Kaplan/Perrone Entertainment’s Aaron Kaplan and Sean Perrone. Prior to acquiring literary representation, she wrote, produced, and directed her festival-award-winning debut short film 1426 CHELSEA STREET in 2011.
